Nissan Leaf - Nissan 2012

  • Nissan began taking orders on Thursday for the 2012 Leaf in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York.
  • The first Leaf deliveries to those states are slated to begin in December.
  • By the end of the year, Nissan also plans to begin taking Leaf orders in Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
FRANKLIN, Tennessee — Nissan began taking orders on Thursday for the 2012 Leaf in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York, with the first deliveries to those states slated to begin in December. By the end of the year, the company also will open the Leaf order books to customers in Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
The 2012 Leaf is essentially a carryover model, with equipment upgrades
Stickers start at $36,050 for the base 2012 Nissan Leaf SV, while the uplevel Leaf SL is priced from $38,100.
The higher prices on the 2012 model reflect added standard equipment, including quick charging, battery warmer, heated steering wheel and heated front and rear seats.
