Infiniti Releases Second Sketch of 2014 Electric Vehicle

Nissan's premium brand Infiniti released a second sketch of a new electric car that it plans to introduce in 2014. The car, as yet unnamed, will be the brand's first EV. The sketch was released at a press conference here at the auto show.

Infiniti issued no details, other than to describe the car vaguely as "a stylish, high performance five-seat luxury vehicle with zero-emissions technology."

The sketch appears to be of a sedan, although it is not clear how many doors it has. Infiniti released a first sketch of the car a year ago.

Nissan launched its Leaf electric car earlier this year, and the new Infiniti is expected to share some of that hardware.
